San Francisco Comic Con
Comic Con is coming!! It’s one of out top things to do in San Francisco weekend! This popular event will be held at the Mascone Center West and offers you the chance to get autographs and photos with your favorite comic book stars. Celebrities attending this year include Sean Astin, Nichelle Nichols, Cary Elwes, Ray Park, and so much more. There will also be, hundreds of exhibits will be on hand for you to pick up comic books, art, toys, and so much more!

While the San Francisco Giants haven’t had the best season, they are in town this Labor Day Weekend, and it looks like they could use some extra support. Taking on the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday (night game at 7:15 p.m.), Saturday and Sunday (day games at 1:05 p.m.).
Free Shakespeare in the Park
Looking for things to do in San Francisco that are a bit more cultural? This holiday weekend you will find three performances of Hamlet. All three shows are free thanks to the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival. The shows start at 2 pm each day (with a short intro at 1:30 pm) and are on the Presidio’s Main Post Parade Ground Lawn. Make sure to arrive early to grab a great seat on the grass.

Whale Watching on the Pacific
September is a great time for whale watching near the Farallon Islands… Both the blue and humpback whales migrate through the area at this time of year. You might also get the chance to see dolphins, seals and great white sharks. This 2.5-hour journey is an excellent choice for those that love to be out on the open water.
