Stroll through the Plant Street Market
Everyone loves a freebie, and this is something that’s perfect for the whole family, a cute date or a day out with the girls. Simply pop on a cute outfit, and go for a stroll through the Plant Street Market. With dozens of vendors, shops, music, and much, much more, this could also be the start of your very own meet-cute – you can even bring your dog to help with the lure. If all else fails, pop over to the Crooked Can Brewing Company who will be on hand with a specialty bottle release to help get the party going.
If walking doesn’t tickle your fancy, how sitting back and relaxing. On Friday 1st September, Leu Gardens are hosting an outdoor cinema. This pick is Rogue One, the 2016 Star Wars movie starring Felicity Jones. While outside food/drinks/beers are permitted, you can also treat yourself to Curbie’s Sidewalk Cafe, Shadrach’s Fiery Furnace Pizza, or Peak Season Pops on-site. The perfect way to unwind after a long day.

If all the hustle and bustle doesn’t sound like your bag, why not take some time to chill out. On Sunday, 3rd Sept., there’s an outdoor yoga class being taught at the Northeast corner of Lake Eola Park near Panera Bread. Created by local yogini, Amanda Reh, all you need to bring is yourself, some comfortable clothing, and a mat.
