Meet the GirlCrwer #73 Evangeline Han

Last week we chatted with Yoga teacher, Karen Davies, and this week we’ve decided to stick with the healthy lifestyle theme but have given the globe a quick spin and have stuck a pin in Oklahoma. Evangeline Han, is a coach with Team High Voltage, and is all about helping others to achieve their health and lifestyle goals. Evangeline knows firsthand the difficulty that many of us face in getting started on that journey, so has made it her mission to make it easier for others. “Leading a healthy lifestyle is so important for me, and for years, I struggled with finding the best way to do it. I’d work out 2-3 hours every day, but I was in pain all the time. I couldn’t step out of my car, climb the stairs, or even squat, without grimacing. Every morning, I’d stand in the hot shower for 15 minutes of pain relief. Every evening, I’d sit in bed with ice packs on my legs and ankles.” While this pain was tiring, for Evangeline this wasn’t even the worst of it. With energy at an all time low, she soon hit a fitness plateau and all her hard work wasn’t yielding the results she’d expected. Instead of letting this get to her, she changed her mind set and her approach by joining a fitness accountability team. “The past two months has been nothing short of amazing. Losing weight has never been my goal. Instead, I’ve always wanted to be lean and toned. Since joining Team High Voltage, with the tools, support, and accountability of my teammates, I’ve lost fat and gained muscle. But, the most important part is that I am now confident with myself. I have amazing positive energy every day. I’m eating clean and leading a healthy lifestyle.” Clearly this has paid off, as Evangeline is now a coach and helping others to achieve their health and lifestyle goals, be they girl bosses or busy mums, or both. “My job is fulfilling because my main and biggest goal is to help people become healthy and fit. I am on a fitness journey as well, and that is helping, not hindering my coach life. So, reach out to me, and I would love to talk more with you about your goals and the opportunities that are available for you!” We’ve all had that time in our lives when we wished we were healthier, and more active, and we all know how tough that can be. Having someone like Evangeline fight your corner can make your journey a little easier, so if you’re based in Oklahoma make sure you get in touch with this fantastic lady.
