Set off the eastern coast of the United States, Portland is a vibrant city filled with food, shopping, and great people. As the most populous city in Maine, Portland serves as the hub of culture and nightlife within the coastal state. Therefore, we at GirlCrew know that happy hour in Portland is the perfect place to find some great deals for you and your friends. So check out our GirlCrew app, find your crew, and discover these restaurants as you take in the fresh ocean air of Portland!
The North Point
Embrace the coastal lifestyle of Portland as you enjoy Tropical Tuesdays with $6 Mojitos at The North Point. Tuck yourself inside the warm atmosphere of The North Point, located on the quiet, yet historic Old Port street. If raspberry Mojitos aren’t your thing, then start your week off right with half-priced bottles of wine from 6-10 p.m.
“Wine Time” is a well-established tradition here at the Blue Spoon from 4:30-6 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Located at the top of Munjoy Hill on the East end of Portland, the Blue Spoon is a great spot to enjoy not only great wine, but great food. Stop by after a long workday or for a relaxing night with friends as you snack on little bites from this chef-owned restaurant while you sip on $3 house wines.
The Front Room
Monday through Friday, make sure to stop by The Front Room, located in the vibrant East end of Portland. Sit back, relax and experience their take on “New American Comfort Food” while ordering $5 cocktail specials from 4-6 p.m. While the prices may be different, the bar is open everyday at 8 a.m. if you’re looking to start your day off early!
The hideaway pub of Bramhall is unique to say the least. Immerse yourself in the brick and stone lined chamber, surrounded by candles and the warmth of the fire beside you. From 4-6 p.m. Monday through Friday, order $4 red and white wines while you snack on anything from deviled eggs to rice-krispie treats. Known for their creative cocktails, the nostalgic atmosphere of Bramhall is a great place to sit back and laugh with a group of friends.
Little Tap House
Located in the West end of Portland, the Little Tap House opened their doors back in 2013 at the time of Maine’s craft brewing boom. While originally developed as a craft beer gastropub, the Little Tap House also serves farm to table gourmet meals with the help of local farmers in the Portland area. Their homemade beer and food are at the center of their popularly named “Bar & Barrel” happy hour, where you can snag a craft beer and yummy appetizer for only $5 total! So snack throughout the night as you sip classic Maine drafts and munch on farm fresh foods!
