When we’re looking for cheap pizza in San Francisco, we mean cheap. None of this “it’s cheap for San Francisco”. So we’re here to help. With two of the GirlCrew team heading off to San Francisco this week, we at HQ thought, well they need to feed themselves on a budget. So here is where to get the best cheap pizza in San Francisco. As an added bonus, we’ve focused on spots where you can grab a slice and a beer for under $10.
*Warning* This post will make you very hungry
1. Golden Boy Pizza
Golden Boy is known for its quirky decor and fast service. Here at you can get pizza by the slice or by sheet. A slice will cost up to $3.75 and that’s plenty to feed you. They also have beer and wine on tap, or if you’re not in the mood for a drink, they have water and soda. But if you don’t want beer, why are you reading this article?
2. Extreme Pizza
Extreme has one of the best menus I’ve seen when it comes to selection. Not only does it have a beer lover dinner special which includes a pitcher of beer, but it also has lots of gluten free and vegan options too. Best of all you can get a slice plus salad, or chips, and a drink for less than $9.
3. Pizzeria Avellino
Based on Lombard Street, Pizzeria Avellino, is perfect spot to grab cheap pizza in San Francisco. Best of all you can grab a piece, or two, and wander through the nearby park. Slices range from $4-5 include tax and you can add toppings for 50c so it’s definitely worth stopping by this spot. Add a beer from $3 and you are laughing.
4. Pi Bar
I think this is the birthplace of pizza and beer. Pi Bar has daily specials, drop by on Sundays and Tuesdays where a slice will cost you $5. Add that to their daily beer board, which gets updated every day. Match the perfect slice to the perfect beer. Now that’s what we call a great lunch.
5. Presidio Pizza Company
Boasting the New York taste, with a San Francisco attitude, the Presidio Pizza Company is not actually in Presidio. But that’s never here nor there. You can grab a slice and a beer for under $10, and lets face it, that’s why you’re reading this. Make sure you check out the Grandma’s squares that originated in Long Island. If you’re a fan of garlic, you’re sure to love these.
