Best Brunch in San Francisco

San Francisco is one my favourite cities ever. And the Americans definitely know good grub – so we set out to find the best brunch in San Francisco.

The city has such a cool vibe, great vintage shops and so many choices when it comes to places to eat. We always suggest going for a wander to get your bearings, but when hunger hits you want to be prepared. To make sure you don’t go form hungry to hangry here are five of the best spots for brunch in San Francisco.

1. 15 Romolo

A hidden treasure of San Francisco, go back in time at the Basque Hotel. 15 Romolo opened its doors in 1998 and its owners wanted to honour the hotel’s tradition of being a local dining hall and watering hole. This place is an experience as soon as you walk in. ‘With no drink in hand, brunch is just breakfast.’

2. Sweet Maple

Sweet Maple is a laid-back meeting place serving a classic American breakfast and brunch menu with a touch of Asian influence. Home of world famous Millionaire’s Bacon, Big Hip deep fried French Toast, bottomless mimosas and bloody Marys.

3. Zazie

Opened in 1992, Zazie is a quaint little french bistro that has become a San Francisco brunch institution. It’s a Cole Valley neighborhood gem that has countless meals worth lingering over including Croque Monsieur. If you want to pretend you are in France, enjoying the beautiful surroundings, go to Zazie. I’ve heard a rumour you can bring your canine best friend here!

4. Farm: Table

A cafe that not only serves quality coffee but also pet friendly too? Sounds like the perfect spot for brunch with your new GirlCrew friends. Farm:Table values its relationship with local farms purchasing their fresh produce, eggs and dairy to create a daily menu.

5. Foreign Cinema

This is the loveliest spot I have ever heard of. Have brunch or dinner under twinkly lights, have a few cocktails with friends and then relax to watch some absolute classic movies. My favourite? La Dolce Vita.

I do love a good brunch. Did I mention your go to place? Leave your suggestion in the comments below. And better yet, why not find your crew today and go on a brunch crawl. Don’t forget to take #brunchgoals pics and tag @GirlCrewHQ. Go on, make us hungry.
