Chipped is a brand new nail salon in Powerscourt Town Centre. The idea came about after founder Roisin Lawless wanted to establish a nail bar that focused on the vibes and atmosphere of a salon rather than just your basic service. Chipped is a blogger’s hangout dream, with a cool Japanese underground feel, lots of metal, pink and blue neon signs. Theres also a live Instagram feed on the wall where you can get your awesome nail work featured. You can pay for a subscription service which, depending on which level you choose, can get you lots of nail treatments a month or you can also just book in for a one time appointment. But judging by their Instagram feed, you will instantly get addicted. #Friends

Treat Them to a Spa Weekend

Take time out and relax with a nice long break away from everything. Spas.ie have lots of different hotels and deals to choose from. I recommend the Brehon Hotel in Kerry. Overlooking Killarney National Park, they are doing a deal for two with overnight accommodation, choice of spa treatment, dinner and full Irish breakfast the next morning. And if your Galentine pays for it, even better.

The Irish Burlesque School have a variety of dance classes to choose from and that suits all fitness levels. You can take a class, have private lessons or have your very own burlesque party. Flirt with burlesque or learn how to do a fan dance. Burlesque bodyfit which joins together ballet, flexibility & toning fused with yoga techniques. Or go back to the 20’s and learn the Charleston. Whatever class you and your besties choose, guaranteed fun will be had.

Let’s face it, Valentine’s can be a drag. Even if you are loved up. Why not give it a wide berth and take your gang off to The Imperial Hotel in Cork city. The Imperial Hotel are hosting anti-Valentine’s night, with a champagne reception, three course dinner, and cocktails to close. You’ll need a minimum of three to book and reservations are essential, but this runs from Friday 9th-18th so you’ve plenty of nights to choose from.
